Abt Sportsline, the German tuners, has given the Volkswagen Golf R a new power upgrade kit, which increases its output to 306bhp.

The standard Golf R produces 266bhp from its 2.0-litre TSI engine, but Abt has given it a power upgrade, boosting its output up to 306bhp. As a result, the tuned Golf R is able to go from 0-100km/h in 5.2 seconds, and reach a top speed of 261km/h.

Hans-Juergen Abt says, VW gave the Golf dynamism when it was in the cradle – it defines sportiness in its class. And the Golf R is the champion of fast Golfs.

The Golf R has also got a set of cosmetic accessories to spruce up the car’s looks, which includes a front skirt, a front lip spoiler, Abt daytime running lights and wheels measuring between 18-inch and 19-inch in size.

2011 GMC Acadia

With the announcement of the 2011 Acadia Denali crossover, GMC is expanding its luxury Denali line.

First crossover of the brand, the Acadia gets signature Denali design cues including monotone paint, unique lower front and rear fascias, high-intensity discharge headlights, chrome accents and the Denali honeycomb grille.

Interior, the Acadia Denali has received a number of luxury upgrades including a premium entertainment system, perforated leather trim and a mahogany wood steering wheel.

The 2011 Acadia Denali will be available in five color options, which includes Quicksilver Metallic, Summit White, Carbon Black, Red Jewel Tintcoat and White Diamond Tricoat. Pricing has not been announced, but the Acadia Denali will be covered by GM’s five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
