Lotus has released the details of its Evora S supercharged and Evora IPS automatic models, which are expected to be officially launched at the Paris Motor Show.

The Evora IPS stands for Intelligent Precision Shift, and it features a six-speed automatic transmission. It has a 3.5-litre V6, which produces 276bhp and 350Nm of torque. This allows the car to go from 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds, and reach a top speed of 250km/h.

Meanwhile, the Evora S is powered by a supercharged version of the same 3.5-litre V6, which churns out 346bhp and 400Nm of torque. Along with a six-speed manual, this enables the car to go from 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds, and reach a top speed of 277km/h.

The Evora S comes with a “sport pack” as standard, and also includes a “sport” button which allows the driver to adjust throttle response and activate an exhaust by-pass valve. Other features include cross-drilled brakes, restyled wheels, and an aggressive rear diffuser.

Lotus CEO Dany Bahar says, ‘you won’t realize what you were missing from your driving experience until you get the wheel of the Evora S. It’s the next level of Evora experience. It communicates with you better; the suspension setting has been fine tuned for added power and control so it responds even more to direction. It’s an instinctual car, the experience is pure.”

Nissan’s first Hybrid system will make its debut in the Infinity M35 Hybrid, along with the Infinity Performance Line G Coupe.

Nissan has also announced that its first-in-house Hybrid system, which was shown in the Nissan Fuga Hybrid at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show, will also power the 2012 Infinity M35 Hybrid.

The new Hybrid system, which is expected to make its debut at this fall’s LA Auto Show, uses an Atkinson-cycle version of Nissan claims “the power of a V8, with the fuel economy of a 4-cylinder”. However, no power output, or performance details have been released.

In Japan, the Hybrid-powered Nissan-Fuga will go on sale this fall, while the Infinity M Hybrid won’t be available until next year.

Infinity also plans to unveil the new 2011 IPL G Coupe at the LA Auto Show.

In the new Infinity Performance Line, the G Coupé will be the first model, which is powered by a 348-hp version of the 3.7 litre V6, and features a sport-tuned suspension, special wheels, and unique IPL interior and exterior treatments.

The new Swift has new platform, the car has increased in size overall. The wheelbase is now 50mm longer at 2380mm, and the car’s length has been increased by 90mm to 3850mm. The new Swift is also 5m wider and 10mm taller than before, with the front and rear tracks increased by 10mm and 5mm respectively.

According to Suzuki, the new Swift has a more lightweight and stiffened frame due to the use of extensive higher strength steel, which makes the body shell lighter and stiffer, while also helping improve impact safety for pedestrians as well as occupants.

A new 1.2-litre petrol engine with Dual VVT Variable intake and exhaust valve timing is available, which replaces the existing 1.3-litre unit. The new engine produces 94bhp and 118Nm of torque, while returning a fuel consumption figure of 5 litres per 100km.

With the latest Euro-5 emissions standards, there is also a 1.3-litre diesel that complies, and produces 75bhp, which will be made available for sale in 2011. Suzuki is also planning a replacement for the Swift Sport hot hatch model. The new Swift will be built at Suzuki’s plant in Esztergom, Hungary, and will go on sale by the end of the year.

The Honda CR-Z is an all-new sporty hybrid coupe, encapsulating a petrol-electric engine combination with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

In order to mark the debut of this unique vehicle, which combines driver enjoyment with low emissions, Honda Motor Europe has teamed up with Wieden + Kennedy London to create a pan-European advertising campaign across 29 markets.

The new film debuted in the Netherlands on the 2nd June, with the schedule for the 11th June. The CR-Z campaign is Honda’s next step in rolling out a unified and consistent brand message across Europe, following on from last year’s launch of the Insight Hybrid, and the re-launch of the enhanced and extended “Impossible Dream” in April 2010.

Earlier this year, the car launched in Japan, and has been an unqualified success, with over 10,000 orders placed in the first month, more than 10 times the original monthly sales target.

Subaru’s in-house tuning arm STI has produced the Legacy B4 2.5GT tS in both sedan and estate forms, especially for the Japanese market.

For the Japanese market, specially, the Legacy B4 2.5GT tS, which stand for ‘Tuned by STI’, are available in Limited edition numbers solely in both sedan and Touring Wagon versions. STI has given the car a few cosmetic and performance upgrades, but kept the 2.5-litre flat-four turbo engine untouched.

The Legacy B4 2.5GT tS includes the performance additions such as Bilstein suspension, strut tow bars, sport exhaust system, and 18-inch multi-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels shod in 225/45 R18 tyres. Cosmetic enhancements include a front lip spoiler on both models, along with a discreet boot lid spoiler for the B4 sedan and a roof spoiler for the Touring Wagon.

Interior, the Legacy 2.5GT tS models get a revised instrument panel, sport seats dressed in Alcantara and leather with contrasting red seams, decorative carbon trim in a titanium finish, STI leather steering wheel and gearbox lever with red seams and STI-branded floor mats.

Volkswagen has revealed an all new Exclusive trim level for their Passat CC four door coupe with extra premium features.

The features of the Volkswagen Passat CC Exclusive includes a two-tone leather finish for the interior and a Black Piano or Moonlight Blue pearl-effect paint finish for the body, with the latter being available only to the Exclusive trim level.

Interior, the two-tone “Cool Leather” is finished in Black Nappa and Nougat colours, with the stitching done in Nougat as well, and the inside door panels also finished in the same leather material.

Illuminated strips, ambient lighting and chrome touches provide the cabin with a lounge-like feel, while “Black Piano” lacquer trim completes the Passat CC Exclusive’s interior look, while Volkswagen is also offering unique 18-inch “Chicago” rims for the special edition trim level.

Porsche has revealed the new generation Cayenne a few months ago with a couple of tuning kits from Lumma Design and TechArt for the luxury SUV. Je Design has taken the Cayenne under their tuning wing and provided a small addition to the SUV.

Je Design is offering a sporty 22″ 5-spokes-rim in 4 color-versions with a bolt circle of 5/130, an offset of 55, and a fix bored center hole. A perfect mounting with original wheel-bolts is guaranteed.

Available wheels are the SMVP (black matte / front polished), CSSVP (shadow-silver / front polished), GSGHP (graphite-silver glossy / lip polished) and GSMHP (graphite-silver matte / lip polished).

In case they do decide to boost up the engine in the Porsche Cayenne, they will be starting off with the standard engines available.

The standard version is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine with an output of 300hp; the diesel one gets a 240 bhp, 405 lb-ft 3-liter V6 engine; S version gets a 4.8-liter V8 with 400 hp; and finally the top version, Cayenne Turbo is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 biturbo with an impressive 500 hp.

The mixed martial arts organization has teamed up with Findlay Customs and Modern Muscle Las Vegas to produce 10-Limited edition UFC Camaros, proving that Chevy’s muscle car’s reach of influence.

Ford Netherlands has revealed the Ford Focus Coupe and Cabriolet Cool & Sound special editions just in time for the summer. The Cool & Sound edition is based on the Trend trim level and adds 16-inch alloy wheels (17-inch alloy wheels for the convertible version), a Visibility Pack (rain sensor, automatic switching dipped headlights and auto dimming interior mirror), cruise control, rear parking sensors, an electrically heated windshield, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a windbreaker.

The cabrio version also gets an advanced navigation system with 5-inch color screen, the Ford Power start button, a tire pressure monitoring system, a wind breaker, an electrically heated windscreen, Bluetooth phone, parking sensors, and Voice Control (voice control of the audio system, air conditioning, phone and the navigation system).

Mitsuoka, Japanese maker, is attempting to sway the attention from the horrific display of craftsmanship on over to the new special edition supercar that has just been unveiled. The Premium Gold will be limited to only 20 units and will be priced at almost $100K.

The Premium Gold edition features a new front spoiler and two elements on the trailing edge of the body. A new exhaust system with four pipes is also attached and interior Alcantra leather is added.

The Orochi Premium Gold is powered by the Same Toyota sourced V6 engine that delivers 231 HP and is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.
